Overview

Stuart has developed a leading practice in the field of employment and labour law that has been lauded for its insight and has represented almost all of Australia's major businesses. Stuart took silk in 2011 and was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia on Australia Day 2019, "for significant service to the legal profession, particularly in the area of industrial relations". 

Stuart was a member of the board of the National Portrait Gallery and remains the Secretary of the Samuel Griffith Society, a society dedicated to upholding the Australian Constitution.
