Practice Overview
David appears in federal and NSW courts and tribunals, and at the bar has been briefed to act for corporations, federal and NSW government departments and agencies, and individuals. He accepts briefs Australia wide, and acts at trial and appellate level, both led and unled. He provides legal advice to law firms and in-house counsel about a myriad of workplace issues.
David has been regularly named in the list of The Best Lawyers in Australia published annually in the Australian Financial Review in the category of "Labour and Employment Law".
As a solicitor David worked in the employment and industrial practice of Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst), including as a partner of the firm based in Sydney. He commenced his professional career as an industrial relations officer with BHP.
