David appears in NSW and Federal courts and tribunals, and at the bar has been briefed for employers, employees and government departments and agencies. He accepts briefs Australia wide.

As a solicitor David worked in the employment and industrial practice of Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst Australia) for over 25 years, including as a partner of the firm based in Sydney. David commenced his professional career as an industrial relations officer with BHP.

David has been regularly named in the list of The Best Lawyers in Australia published annually in the Australian Financial Review in the category of “Labour and Employment Law”.
